1. The Hellacopters
The MC5 + Kiss + Motörhead = Action Rock. Blaring solos, pounding drums, and more fire than your ears can handle.
  2. The Backyard Babies
Punk rock + glam with a double down on the sleaze. Check out the "Total 13" album, and be blown away
  3. Union Carbide Productions
Formed in the mid 80s as a meeting of Stooges-esque Rock 'N' Roll and psychedelic garage. Absolutely amazing.
  4. The (International) Noise Conspiracy
Fiercely political socialist garage rock that will also make you dance. They sound like a fucking revolution.
  5. The Hives
Fun, loud, fast garage punk. The vocals scream and the guitars cut right through. I'm partial to the "Tyrannosaurus Hives" record where they channel Devo.
  6. The Soundtrack of Our Lives
Born from the ashes of Union Carbide Productions, The Soundtrack of Our Lives went full throttle on the psychedelia. This is a mind altering substance.
