REASONS WHY I FUCKING HATE WINTER

Winter, with holidays such as Christmas and New Years, many people consider winter to be their favorite time of the year. It is a time to be with family, to exchange gifts, make those New Years resolutions, and for us college students it gives us several opportunities to get drunk with our friends. Seems great right? Wrong.
  1. It's ungodly cold out
I am very much an outdoorsy type of person, I would rather be outside being active than sitting inside on the couch watching tv all day. Stepping outside to have that cold air punch you in the face and take your breath away is not my idea of a good time. Being rather skinny, I get cold easily. There is no greater pain in the ass than having to wear 2 coats, 2 pairs of gloves, 2 pairs of socks, and sweatpants under my jeans just to go out and clear the driveway off
  2. Snow magically causes everyone to forget how to drive
Really the only thing I like about winter is drifting all over town when it snows. Few things in life bring a bigger smile to my face than having my foot mashed to the floor and looking out of the driver side window to see where I'm going. However, snow is also one of the biggest reasons I hate winter. We live in the Midwest where it snows every winter, so why is it that every single time it snows, everyone acts like the world is ending and feels the need to drive 20 mph everywhere they go?
  3. Girls put more clothes on
What is the best part about summer? If you said hot chicks in booty shorts and tiny tank tops then you are correct. In summer it gets hot, causing girls to wear less and less clothing, and what's better than a hot girl in minimal clothing? Nothing. During winter, the frigid temperatures force girls to layer up. Instead of shorts and tank tops, you get yoga pants (still pretty good) and hoodies (not so good). More clothing means more sadness for us guys, and nobody likes to be sad.
  4. It gets dark at 5pm
Again, being an outdoorsman, I enjoy staying outside as late as possible. I feel as though I feed off the sunlight and it (literally) brightens up my day, mood, life, etc. With less sunlight, I am left feeling sad, down, and depressed (more so than usual). Rather than being active outside, I choose to sit at watch tv until I fall asleep. I'm less productive, less motivated to do anything, basically I turn into a bum.
  5. I can't ride my dirt bike
Need I say anything else? No. But I'm going to anyway. My dirt bike is my life. It makes me happy, keeps me active, and makes me feel alive. Dirt bikes are also great for attracting the ladies (although none of them have seemed to find their way to the 421 machine yet...). Dirt bikes just make my life better. When I can't ride my dirt bike, I get mad, sad, depressed, etc. I guess what I have to say after all of this is a big f you to winter and bring on summer!!!
