Hot Bod Accountability Squad

Hey listers, a few of us have decided to check in weekly with each other as we focus on our health. Some of us its mental health, some its physical. For most it is both. Want to be accountable? Here's the place.
  1. β€’
You have this week Thursday Jan 11 - Wed Jan 18 to add your goal to this list.
  2. β€’
Once you tell me you want to be held accountable weekly for working toward your goal, I (or someone equally hardcore annoying) will reliably check in on you every Wednesday.
This officially ends April 25th, because Lexie deserves to eat all the cake she wants on her 20th birthday. Also because it takes 3 months to make a habit. It's up to you after that.
  3. β€’
Here's how your goal can look: "I'm Anna Faris and I want to read 1 book a week, spend an hour outside every weekend, and get 5,000 steps on my fitbit every weekday"
Or whatever. It's your life. Make it reasonable, make it positive, and make it you!
  4. β€’
Maybe your goal is "I'm Chrissy Metz and I want to lose 4 pounds a week every week until my gastric bypass surgery in June. I want to make breakfast at home 6 days each week and limit my wine to one bottle per month"
This is also totally cool. Okay, here's my real oneπŸ‘‡πŸ½
  5. β€’
I'd like to stand at my convertible desk at least 4 hours each workday, order delivery less than once a week, lose two to four inches on my waist and three to five off my hips. I plan to walk 7,500 steps on my fitbit 6 days a week, and eat less bacon in general.
I would also like to have 4 books completed in the 3+ months of this experiment, and rely on zantac for my ulcer less than 7 days a week. I have already begun back at my favorite Zumba studio. I plan to do all these things without leaning on any of my old ED tricks.
  6. β€’
    Now you!

Wanna keep your goals on the DL? Send me a chat or list request (for non-updaters or androids) and I'll include you on check ins only!
  8. β€’
I want to cook a good meal in my Crockpot at least once a week (until I can do harder recipes) and go outside at least once every day.

I'm Briana, and I'm terrified because I just got my tonsils removed, and won't be able to eat solids for a few days. I can already feel the weight dropping from my body. I know a lot of you may roll your eyes, this girl is complaining about losing weight?? Well, it's really hard for me to keep on, and I'm currently at my ideal weight.
My plan is to eat 100g of protein and ~75g of fat a day through liquids!

I spent money and bought into the 21-Day Fix. I want to keep up with the exercise plan (30 min everyday) , I want to avoid self-sabotage, and I have a goal of doing the National Stair Climb for the 9/11 first responders in the early fall. You climb the equivalent to 109 flights, like they did in the Towers.

I want to join Wednesday accountability group!! 😍 I've been torn between trying pescatarian and whole 30, and it's hard to do both, (need protein!) so my bargain is LESS meat, MORE fish, and MUCH LESS grains, 🌾πŸ₯–sugar,🍩🍦 and dairyπŸ₯›πŸ§€ . I also HAVE to get more exercise, mainly for stress reduction, a little for strength, not for weight loss.
It's been fairly easy to drop sugar, milk, cheese, and add more fish. Grains I'm working on. Exercising I'm working on, aiming for every Saturday and Sunday, and 1-2 week days. I don't get home from work until 6:30 and that has made working out more difficult. But as the weather warms up I'm going to try running again. For now, yoga, walking, and stationary bike at home.

The small picture aka the goal for this kick a$$ squad: Take one active step a week (no matter how big or small) that will contribute positively towards self love and acceptance. The accountability will be in explaining the benefits from my actions and also the act itself and how it contributes.
The big picture is loving myself completely, not with rose colored glasses, but with a genuine love that I sought for all my life in others and now realize it's me who is responsible for that.✨I don't think I can accomplish that in 3 months, but I def can instill the habit of working at it.πŸ™ŒπŸΌβœŒπŸΌ
