My friend @MattHelbigAf gave me his ten favorite movies in no order so now I will put them in order of how much I like them. 😎
  1. 1.
    Star Wars (1977)
It doesn't get much better than the original Star Wars. It does exactly what any movie should do in its 2 hour runtime. A prime example of a fun summer blockbuster.
  2. 2.
    Inglorious Basterds (2009)
For my money, this is Tarantino's best movie (I go back and forth between this and Pulp Fiction). A killer script along with great characters and it's all set during World War II. This is the only recent Tarantino movie that doesn't feel too long in my opinion.
  3. 3.
    Unbreakable (2000)
  4. 4.
    Jurassic Park (1998)
  5. 5.
    Monster's Inc. (2001)
First movie I ever saw in the theater. 😊
  6. 6.
    King King (2005)
I maintain that this isn't as good as the original 1933 version, but I know Matt is very passionate about the remake and I can see why. Solid stuff.
  7. 7.
    The Village (2004?)
Very underrated movie from Shyamalan in my opinion. And my god Roger Deakins' cinematography is on fleek af in this movie.
  8. 8.
Signs (late90s or early 2000s idrk)
Not bad. But not exceedingly good compared with Shyamalan's first two movies.
  9. 9.
    Special Mention: Shallow Hal (2001)
I've never even heard of this movie before, Matt.
  10. 10.
Special Mention: School of Rock (2006 I guess)
Still haven't seen it! Love me some Linklater tho. So it'll probably be good. So I should get on that.
