IF I OPENED MY OWN RESTAURANT THIS IS WHAT WE WOULD SERVE

Inspired by @drugs and @jessacosta
  1. BREAKFAST ITEMS
  2. Avocado toast
I don't care if it's cliche, I love it. With red pepper flakes, preferably.
  3. Hummus bagel
Toasted bagel with hummus, avo, tomato, maybe sprouts? and a lemon wedge to squeeze over it.
  4. Oatmeal
With fresh berries and maple syrup.
  5. Brown bread with assorted preserves
My grandma's brown bread, homemade. In addition to the standard toppings, marmalade and gooseberry jam are musts.
  6. ---------------------------------------
  7. NON-BREAKFAST ITEMS
  8. Flatbreads/pizzas
With various veg toppings (good ones like caramelized onions and butternut squash). And olives.
  9. Oven fries
Thick and potato-y. Served with honey mustard for dipping.
  10. A really good veggie burger
No mushrooms. Good roll. Lettuce, tomato, pickles.
  11. Veggie burritos
A version of the one served at The Manatee Cafe in St Augustine: sweet potatoes, broccoli, shredded carrots, red cabbage, and avocado with a honey mustard dressing. Blue corn chips and tabbouleh on the side to be true to the original.
  12. Kale and chickpea salad
This one: http://minimalistbaker.com/garlicky-kale-salad-with-crispy-chickpeas/. I put that dressing on everything. And lick the spoon.

  14. DESSERT
  15. Heavenly Lemon Pie
Another grandma specialty. Cool whip, lemon, egg whites but I try not to think about it. Graham cracker crust. Served frozen. It's light and airy and could only be on the menu in the summer.
  16. Brownie sundae
Whipped cream and a cherry of course.
