Playlist, If you could host 1 hour of music on any radio station what songs would you play?

  1. I'm coming home to you - The Angels
The first time I heard their album With Roots and Wings I just had to play it for all my friends.
  2. I'd rather go blind - Beth Hart bonus track on Boom Boom Bang Bang. Having Joe Bonamassa on guitar is amazing with Beth's vocals
  3. Dreams -Brandi Carlile reminds a bit of Melissa Ethridge
  4. God made woman- Annie Burns from the album Days in Italy. I always wish Bonnie Raitt would record this an take it up a notch. It is a strange reason to like a song.
  5. Angel - Dee Carstensen. I saw her do this in concert 20 years ago now. It's her version of the Hendrix song done on a large harp. It was really cool and has always stuck with me.
  6. Deeper Well -Emmylou Harris from the Spyboy album was an eye opener for me. I have loved Emmylou from college when I saw her in the late 70's. This was a change in her persona for me from the sweet sound of Songbird.
  7. Hot Summer Night - Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. This song and a few others of hers got me through a few cold winter days driving to work.
  8. Welcome to Acousticville -Janis Ian (from Hunger) I have always considered her an under appreciated guitar genius
  9. Come on in my Kitchen - Red Molly. Just love them
  10. (Mama) He treats your daughter so bad - Susan Tedeschi. I have been a fan ever since this album. She never disappoints
  11. My love follows you - Lori McKenna from Massachusetts. ( Actually anything by Lori). I also love Alison Krauss' version
  12. I'm going to live the life I sing about in my songs- Sarah Borges. A local artist for me. Love her energy.
  13. Nothing but the Radio - Maia Sharp. Fun and Sexy.
  14. Girl you look Amazing - Nicole Atkins from Phaser. It is one of my guilty pleasures. I just like it.
  15. That should fill an hour. If I need more consider anything with Bonnie Raitt. But her new album Dig in Deep deserves a good listen. "Gypsy in me" certainly has gotten some airtime on MVY radio. My favorite station, but need to dig in deep for more. Seeing her in August. So excited.
