- •My friend has dubbed us Frog and Toad. I am Frog. I grew up in WNY (I have never seen my legs--only snow pants). Reminds me of that part in The Christmas Story where the mother dresses Randy for school, and then when he and Ralphie and Co. run into Scut Farkus and evasive maneuvers are required, Randy is too bundled to evade ("He lay there like a slug. It was his only defense").
- •I laugh maniacally at this scene from a Foghorn Leghorn Looney Tunes. I think it's the blackness of the peepers. My family debate: is that the stare of an omnisciently cognitive being, or a completely unaware innocent?
