Things I learned from 40 years in theatre

  1. Directors can be more abusive than the step-mother of a red-headed child.
  2. Admins take more time doing their taxes than any actor anywhere, ever.
  3. Being told you're boring is considered a theatre education. (Thanks Mr. Hayward)
  4. Despite having to learn math and science, I should have become a veteranarian. (Putting a puppy to sleep would have been more fun.)
