Ukuleles and Women

An impromptu poem inspired by JUMPIN JIM'S UKULELE HOTTIES
  1. Ukuleles and women they go well together
  2. Like fine sipping whiskey and fine Spanish treasure
  3. To perch by the surf to strum and to croon
  4. And call down the music from an old island moon
  5. Her shoulders are kissed by the surf and the spray
  6. As she unwinds her fingers and flicks them to play
  7. The chords in the darkness will trip through the air
  8. To bolden the breezes and sift through her hair
  9. The fishermen wait on the outskirts of sea
  10. Tethered by chains to her shore melody
