[🎧] 21 Christian bands not named Creed that are available for consumption.

When I tell people I listen to Christian music what they typically hear is "I listen to Creed." This list is an example of what I actually mean. ("Christian band" loosely defined)
  1. 1.
In the Mumford and Sons arena of southern folk rock with a hint of worship. Not Creed.
  2. 2.
    Cool Hand Luke
Piano driven, with a punk/drummer-driven soul. A focus on lyrics that border on literary or poetic (along with a voice that is more gritty than traditionally beautiful). Not Creed.
  3. 3.
    Chance the Rapper
You don't need me to tell you who Chance the Rapper is. Not Creed.
  4. 4.
Piano driven, with more of a polished pop feel than Cool Hand Luke. Not Creed.
  5. 5.
    Until June
Atmospheric and beautiful vocals. Something that would play during emotional scenes on Grey's Anatomy. Not Creed.
  6. 6.
    My Epic
More overtly Christian than some on the list. Biblically driven band that's best when it's doing low-key indie...but sometimes thinks it's a hardcore band. Not Creed.
  7. 7.
    Least of These
Melodic and low-key elegance. Is that a thing? Not Creed.
  8. 8.
Post-hardcore, occasionally borderline screamo or and punk. Not Creed.
  9. 9.
    The Ember Days
Female led and melodic. Really lovely. Not Creed.
  10. 10.
A depth of instrumental prowess and a penchant for storytelling and experimenting. Sufjan Stevens-esque. Not Creed.
  11. 11.
Constantly evolving, but one of the edgiest (as in probably not sold in Christian bookstores) band on the list. From ballads to full-on hardcore screamo. Not Creed.
  12. 12.
    Lost Ocean
See Until June, but even more atmospheric. Not Creed.
  13. 13.
    Future of Forestry
Like a Coldplay but when people still liked Coldplay. Not Creed.
  14. 14.
Dancy synth rock with a pop rock bent. Not Creed.
  15. 15.
    Sleeping At Last
Probably heard them on a soundtrack, like Twilight. Great background music with soul. Not Creed.
  16. 16.
    Post-hardcore melodic screamo. Not Creed.
  17. 17.
    Anberlin / Anchor & Braille
Two bands, one lead singer. A U2 epic rock feel, with some 80s in it. Not Creed.
  18. 18.
Very weird. Very experimental. Really great once you acquire the taste. Not Creed.
  19. 19.
    Deas Vail
    Falsetto piano rock. Not Creed.
  20. 20.
    House of Heroes
A snarkier Kings of Leon, traditional rock n roll music. Not Creed.
  21. 21.
    Edison Glass
Guitar driven pop punk. Not Creed.
