1. Incentivize
    Give yourself a reward for each item on your to-do list you accomplish. Like taking a day off from work for taking out the trash.
  2. Prioritize
    It's impossible to get to everything on your to-do list. So get the little wins. The times my apartment is its cleanest is when I'm supposed to be doing something else, like filling out applications, and instead decide it's laundry day.
  3. Outsource
    It's still an accomplishment if you get somebody else to do it for you. In retrospect I should have made this a List+.
