Today, we tested gluing a strip of metal flashing to the ribs, but it won't stay taut between them. Dad picked up 1/8" plywood at Lowes to lay down a thin, flat layer below the flashing. Ultimately, plywood was unavoidable because we need to raise the height of the ribs up a notch, so the floor frame will be flush with the top of the side rails.
  1. Wipe trailer, spray rust
  2. Try and fail with the flashing
  3. Scrape off liquid nails
