Things I realized late in life

Better late than never
  1. The wrong em-phaa-sys on the wrong su-laable is saying "the wrong emphasis on the wrong syllable"
    I was 24. I have no excuse
  2. Skinny doesn't equal pretty. Or healthy. Or happy
    I'm still learning this one
  3. I'm an extrovert
Seems ridiculous if you know me. But my lady life partner said it off hand one day and it just hit me. Like, duh you are!
  4. People who use social media to "demonstrate" their love are usually only trying to convince themselves
It used to get me down, but then I remembered everyone lies
  5. It's ok to not go out
Sometimes you just don't want to. And if you force yourself, you won't have fun and the people you're with won't either. You can stay at home if you want to
  6. Don't nap after 5pm
I never sleep well if I do this unless I staying up super late
  7. It's ok to not be busy at every moment
I don't need to feel guilty for not doing the dishes. They can sit there for another few hours
  8. What looks good at her (or him) won't always look good on you
Dress to your body type, not what you think you should be. You'll look flawless always
  9. It's ok to be a bitch
  10. I have a huge forehead
And bangs hide it. Go with it
  11. You can change your mind and opinions
You're not always right and 13 year-old you didn't know shit
  12. You. Don't. Have. To. Say. Sorry. For. Everything.
ONLY SAY "SORRY" WHEN IT'S NECESSARY. JUST BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO GET BY SOMEONE DOESN'T MEAN YOU NEED TO APOLOGIZE (yelling at myself to get it in my brain)
