Why "locker room talk" isn't ok anymore

  1. When I was 13 a friend put his hand on my butt while we were talking to friends at lunch. I didn't understand why he would do that
  2. When I was 16 I was walking to a friend's house and man in a car followed me for several blocks. I had to run and hide
  3. When I was 17 a man pulled over and asked me for directions, a few moments I realized he was masturbating. I was confused and embarrassed
  4. When I was 18 I was kissed by a boy who I didn't know was in a long distance relationship. I was upset he made me an accessory to his indiscretion and I suspect I wasn't his first
  5. When I was 19 a friend stayed over and invited himself into my bed without my consent then groped my breast. I was confused
  6. These are just a few of the unfortunate incidents that have happened to me that some people would push aside as "locker room talk". I am a human. I deserve to have my body respected as does every other person
  7. THIS ISN'T OK THAT THESE THINGS ARE HAPPENING TO THE PEOPLE WE COHABITATE WITH
