These aren't the best TV shows I've ever seen: rather, these are my favourite, and ones I'll never tire of watching. The rankings don't entirely matter: they change depending on what mood I'm in.
- 1.The SopranosPure brilliance. Not the best show I've seen, but the one that captured my attention the best. Me and my dad used to watch hour after hour, rooting for one of the most well-written anti-heroes ever created.
- 2.The WireThe best TV show I've ever seen. The reason it's not number one is because I think there's something oddly impersonal about it; it's that good that everyone should watch it, and commend it regardless of whether they liked it or not. A fantastic portrayal of life, death and the city of Baltimore.
- 3.DaredevilIt kicks ass. A brutal, exciting depiction of a classic superhero, and a perfect example of how to do a superhero show right. That doesn't mean every superhero show should be dark and gritty; rather, the show should suit the character. The Flash is another great example, however it's just not good enough of a show to be on the list.
