BALLCAPS I OWN THAT ARE COMMONLY MISTAKEN FOR THE CHICAGO CUBS

No matter where I go, when I'm wearing one of these caps, either a) a Chicago Cubs fan tries to chat me up, or b) I hear "Go Cubs!" as someone passes me on the street. Not a big deal, unless you're a fan of their arch rivals, the Saint Louis Cardinals (which I am). I can't pass on a great minor league ballcap though!
  1. Jersey City Skeeters
An authentic reproduction of the cap worn by the Skeeters in 1932. Made by Ebbets Field Flannels in Seattle, Washington. 100% wool, 8-panel cap with a soft bill, satin under bill and satin trim on the inside. This beaut has it all, deluxe! Besides the top quality construction and materials, I love this cap for two reasons: 1) Skeeters! 2) J is for @Jim
  2. Humboldt Crabs
The Crabs are a summer collegiate, wood bat baseball team in Arcata, California. My wife grew up in Humboldt County, so we're back there often. She even used to play saxophone in the Crabgrass Band, a community pep band situated in the stands, who play fun tunes to rally the crowd and team. Lots of fun memories of watching the Crabs play at Arcata Ball Park. After one game on the 4th of July, we watched the fireworks from center field through a dense Humboldt fog. Go Crabs!
