My Most Anticipated Movies of 2017

The films I can't wait to see over this next year!
  1. 10.
Beauty and the Beast (17th March)
I mean, who isn't looking forward to this? Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Emma Thompson, Ian McKellen and many more star in this live action adaption of the animated Disney classic.
  2. 9.
    Baywatch (12th May)
I'm a big Zac Efron fan & the first trailer really made me laugh. After Bad Neighbours (which I loved) I'm excited for this 21 Jump Street styled reboot. Also, the idea of Zac being a life guard is enough to make me try & drown myself.
  3. 8.
    Dunkirk (21st July)
I didn't see Interstellar so I haven't seen a Christopher Nolan film since The Dark Knight Rises back in 2012. So I'm ready for this! Also, Harry Styles.
  4. 7.
    Downsizing (22nd December)
Alexander Payne is one of my favourite filmmakers and his next film featuring Matt Damon & Kristen Wiig (two of my favourite actors) is something I can't wait to see.
  5. 6.
    Table 19 (3rd March)
A romantic comedy starring Anna Kendrick, Wyatt Russell, Lisa Kudrow, June Squibb, and Tony Revolori.
  6. 5.
    Blade Runner 2049 (6th October)
Denis Villeneuve is a filmmaker I'm very excited about after Prisoners, Sicario, and Arrival all made it into my top films of their respective years I'm ready for this sequel to the classic space noir.
  7. 4.
    Personal Shopper (17th March)
It feels like i've been aware of this film for as long as I can remember but Kristen Stewart is a major draw for me nowadays and after Clouds of Sils Maria I'm happy about this film with the same director.
  8. 3.
    The Beguiled (23rd June)
SOFIA COPPOLA RETURNS! This time she directs and writes a story about a women's boarding school during the civil war starring Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning, and Nicole Kidman.
  9. 2.
    Suburbicon (TBC)
George Clooney directing Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, and Oscar Isaac in a 1950's crime drama written by the Coen Brothers.
  10. 1.
    The Circle (28th April)
The trailer got me. Based on a book by Dave Eggers Emma Watson & Tom Hanks star in this social media based thriller.
