Characters That Transform Actors Into Our Wet Dreams

This list was inspired by several conversations I've had with friends about roles that made us think of actors differently, like in the "I wanna have your babies" way. Yes, actors are not their roles, but if you don't know them personally, you likely associate them with the characters in your head. So here are the ones who really turned it around!
  1. First Impression: Scarecrow
Cillian Murphy sure had this character down! Shifty and icky and creepy as fuck. Not the sexy kind of villain.
  2. Loin Awakening: Thomas Shelby
Ugh it's all tortured looks and brooding with those piercing blue eyes and even though I cringe at 90% of the iterations of this haircut that current dudes rock, for him an exception is made.
  3. First Impression: Jerky Figure Skater
Before I was cool enough to know about Arrested Development, I saw Will Arnett in Blades of Glory. He was evil and self-centered and cringeworthy in both his actions and his personal style. In many ways Job felt like a natural next step, not evil but still self-centered and next level cringeworthy.
  4. Loin Awakening: Chip
I don't know why this works. After all these years, Flaked has made me see Arnett in a new light. It's a strange thing, because I don't think in real life I'd be dumb enough to chase Chip or a Peaky Blinder. I don't think I'm REALLY into scary and/or "bad" people. Compulsive liars and gangsters have really never held much appeal to me, I swear. I hope. But still, Flaked worked.
  5. First Impression: Stefon
Bill Hader is amazing. His portrayal of this wackadoo was one of the best parts of SNL since the 2000s hit. That being said, it's sure hard to think of Stefon as a real person, or in a romantic/sexual sense, because that's not the point of Stefon. That bleeds over into the portrayer if you don't know him personally.
  6. Loin Awakening: Aaron Conners
Dear lord. I love Trainwreck, I saw it several times in theaters, and at the end of each viewing the main conversation was how we all suddenly wanted to marry Bill Hader. He was so sweet and wonderful and vulnerable and hot and it wasn't what any of us were expecting but man, woman, whatever, we were all ready to raise his offspring. Finally, a flip to attraction to a non-scary character!
  7. If anyone relates to this and has experienced it themselves, please add your examples below! I would love to read them and know I'm not alone!
