Books I Read In April

Rated out of 4 📚
  1. 1.
    Morning Star by Pierce Brown
📚📚📚📚 THIS SERIES!!!! I loved it. So much. It's kind of rare, even with books I love, for me to miss the characters after I've moved on to the next book. Usually I'm happy to just get to know the next characters. But I missed (still miss) the ones from this series. I was super excited to hear he's writing another trilogy based in this world.
  2. 2.
In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson
📚📚📚📚 I'm a big fan of Larson's books. I need to read Dead Wake soon.
  3. 3.
Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff
📚📚📚 We're discussing this in my book club tonight and I'm interested to hear what my friends think of it. I didn't love it and I didn't hate it. It was definitely an intriguing story and I really liked an element that I won't talk about (spoilers!).
  4. 4.
Lafayette in the Somewhat United States by Sarah Vowell
📚📚📚📚 I love Vowell's books, so I was really excited to get to this one. Plus it kicked off my current obsession with Revolutionary books, but more on those next month!
