Today I hosted a bridal shower for my best friend who's getting married soon. It was a huge success, if I do say so myself. Now it's 2 am and I'm laying on the couch watching Community and dreading my 6 am alarm. WHY CAN'T I JUST SLEEP LIKE A NORMAL PERSON? Here are the thoughts that are keeping me awake:
  1. I can't believe my best friend is getting married.
  2. I can't believe my best friend is getting married.
  3. What if I never get married?

The best part about having siblings is that nothing they say offends you. It may make you angry, but you just say something even worse and you're even. My excuse is that I'm just trying to help them when I say things they don't like, but I'm not even sure if that's true. Maybe I just like to be annoying?
  1. Ethan: my hair looks terrible. Me: you need to deal with your body image issues. E: I don't like your hair either.
Thanks for helping me with my body image issues. And for your honesty.
  2. Me, after after a previous conversation I don't remember at all: "Don't you know anything about periods?? Did I never explain this to you?? You can't be pregnant if you have a period!!" E: "Shut up!! That's disgusting! I can't talk to my sister about this!" Me: "You have to know! I have to tell you!!
I feel the need to make sure my brother is educated in all the important things in life.
  3. Me: "Oh, you like a girl?? Let me tell you exactly what to talk to her about and how to make her fall in love with you!" E: "No."
  4. (While walking through Target) Me: I could spend hours in Target." E: "Me too." Me: "OMG, you're a woman." E: "Don't ever tell Dad I said that."
I hesitate to publish this list because I don't want anyone to think I'm crazy, but li.st is basically my therapist, and I have to be completely honest if I really want help, right?
  1. A second shooter in JFK's assassination
It just makes sense from looking at all the facts. I've done my research (by that I mean I watched The Sixties documentary on Netflix).
  2. Aliens
How could they not exist?? The universe is friggin enormous.
  3. Alternate universes
This most likely stems from my brother's Marvel obsession.
  4. The Loch Ness Monster
I've seen the water horse. Leave the poor, beautiful creature alone to live out her life in peace!
Confession: I have never really watched Star Wars. I think I've seen the first one ("episode IV," according to my brother), but that's about it. However, my brothers are huge Star Wars fans, and they convinced me to watch episode VII with them. Needless to say, I was a bit confused. Here are some of the thoughts I had while watching:
  1. Storm troopers are humans??
    I thought they were robots.
  2. Hey, there's Keira Knightly!
    It wasn't Keira Knightly.
  3. Where Is Darth Vader?
    My brothers: "OMG, he's dead."

This should really be called "Books I've read more than 20 times..." But this is what li.st suggested, and I'm new here, sooo here goes:
  1. Emma (Jane Austin)
    Better than Pride and Prejudice
  2. Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austin)
Better than all the other books in the world
  3. Love Letters to the Dead (Ava Dellaira)
So beautiful... I basically cried for days after reading this.
