CLASSIC/VINTAGE SUV PORN

I understand opinions on classic SUVS are very personal. I gave this some thought. No disrespect to jeep but it's obvious I have a Toyota bias. 🏁
  1. Honorable Mention : Icon D200 - I want one of these as much as any of these actual old trucks. This is my favorite Icon build by far. I get butterflies looking at this truck. But it cost as much as a small house and I couldn't include it on the list because it's really a brand new truck. I've also seen them made in green 😍😍😍
  2. Honorable Mention : 69 Bronco - Don't get me wrong. These are beautiful trucks. I had one for two years. It was way too small for me. It felt like a clown car.
  3. #10 : International Harvester Scout : Seems like a cool little SUV but I'd rather have a K5 blazer. Plus they're hard to find because they've evidently all rusted out pretty bad.
  4. #9 : Land Rover Series 3 - Always wanted one. Not sure what I'd do with it.
  5. #8 : Chevy C10 (2nd generation) - Cool classic pickup. Aesthetically stock with a new engine and call it a day. Black would be awesome. STOP. LOWERING. THESE.
  6. #7 : FJ40 - Awesome, iconic model. Definitely kind of a stiff ride. The one I've driven in particular feels like it's going to tip over. Bright colors and a bright white hardtop. Throw some 33" tires on it looks perfect.
  7. #6 : 5th Gen Bronco - I miss the 2 door SUV. Something about the idea of needing an SUV for adventures but not 4 doors and all the passengers that come with it (kids, other individuals that slow your adventures down.) I drove a 1995 Eddie Bauer in HS and still have it. Doesn't get any better than a stock 2tone Bronco w BFG AT's? Back window is 😍
  8. #5 : FJ55 - Beautiful. Not sure how it drives or feels because I've never been in one, but it's on my wish list. Available from 68-79. Love the headlights and grill.
  9. #4 : Land Rover Defender 90 - Need one. Not sure this qualifies as vintage or classic SUV because they can run you damn near six figures. Willow Green with black wheels and a hard top, please.
  10. #3 : Chevy K5 Blazer - Always been on my wish list. Everyone's favorite. Looks great with the top down too. If I lived in Manhattan Beach it'd be my daily driver. Which makes me wonder... Why the hell don't I live in Manhattan Beach??
  11. #2 : FJ45 - Pickup version of the FJ40. They only made them for a couple years in the 60s. They had a long bed and short bed. I think I pulled a pic of a short bed. Most people probably keep them around as farm trucks and then end up just babying them. I wouldn't have the heart to beat one up. Even though they're badass.
  12. #1 : FJ62 - I own one and it's my favorite truck I've had. Little bit stiff but it feels like you're driving a tank. Always wanted to throw a V8 in mine but don't know if I have the heart to get rid of the old reliable 3F engine. I love this thing and I definitely haven't babied it. (Not mine pictured)
