1. To Pimp A Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar
I think Kendrick Lamar was victim of over inflated hopes. The album is musically varied and complex and cool- a step from Good Kid Maad City, though it took me a moment to think that
  2. Yeezus-Kanye West
the first time I heard this album I thought it was pretty bad. the eight time I heard it I finally recognized how awesome it is. a few of the songs are definitely not my favorite, but overall, it was a great album. to pimp a butterfly had a similar effect. you come to expect certain things from popular rappers and when they deviate from their normal work, the shock value can initially come across as "bad". cool list idea by the way.
