1. Lemme crowdsource ur brains real quick
  2. When doing any sort of freelance work, don't be afraid to discuss compensation terms (including when you can expect payment) right away.
Too many times, I have just agreed to write something and then turned it in without working out how much and when I will be paid for it, simply because it felt too awkward to bring up. So silly! @eatthelove has taught me to ask for way more than I think I'll get, and then bargain down from there. And I've learned to confirm when to expect payment before beginning work on anything.

  4. Your body can tell you in an instant things that your brain would take years to work out
Dating someone and every time you see their name on your phone you feel a surge of panic? Noticing that friend you have that makes you feel tense and angry after each time you see them? Working on something that you'd rather lie in bed than finish? etc...
