I MADE PROFITEROLES AND TOOK SOME PICTURES IN THE MAKING SO YOU CAN MAKE SOME TOO

Yo @aminam remember when we laughed about me cooking ? I fucking made some profiteroles ! So I'm not a great cook and pastry is hard. This is really profiteroles 101 there are much more tricks to make them better and prettier !
  1. Profiteroles are basically choux pastry with ice cream
  2. So this recipe is "pate à choux" which will help make those
    (Eclairs)
  3. Or puff pastries
    You put pastry cream inside
  4. But I made the easiest, so profiteroles it is ! But basically the preparation will help you make tons of recipes !
  5. Start your oven termostat 7 (210C)
  6. So you'll need 25cl water, 100g butter, 4 eggs, pinch of salt, 125gr flour sieved
  7. Put the water + butter + salt in a pan
  8. As soon as it starts boiling take the pan out of the ring (don't turn it off yet) and add the flour (all in once) mix them a bit
    The Internet is telling me to use wooden spoon to mix so I did sorry fancy silicon ones
  9. Then put in back on the ring to dry the pastry and kip mixing until the preparation doesn't stick to the pan
  10. Then take it off the ring (you can turn it off now 😉) and add the egg ONE BY ONE !!
    (In pict is the moment I added the 3rd for comparison)
  11. Wait til the previous egg is well mixed to add the other !
  12. At the end your pastry must be soft but still hold
  13. Then do some balls on your baking sheet (with baking paper on it)
    Of course you can use special thing I don't know the name of to make nice ones haha but I just used spoons ! (Don't forget they'll grow so they must have some space ! Depending of what you do it's the moment you choose the form ! Smaller, bigger, long etc)
  14. In the oven for 25min th7 (210 of my degrees Celsius 😉)
  15. DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR COOKING OR THEY WONT GROW NICELY
  16. then turn off your oven and keep them inside for a few minutes
  17. TADA !

  19. For the profiteroles it's the laziest and easiest
  20. You melt some chocolate !
    I know it works in the microwave but I'm old school ! (Personally I like to take dark chocolate and add some milk )
  21. Cut the choux in half and add some vanilla ice cream
  22. And BAM !!!
