My grandpa loved daisies and we laid them on his grave when he passed away. My mother also used to read me a poem when I was going that had a line: The dark danced over the daisies and oh! they were so bright. I've wanted to commission a piece of art based on that line for a long time now. So daisies because they are bright and cheery and have so much sentimental value for me.
