Concerts I've Attended

I know that I have been to more concerts than my brain likes to remember, so I've decided to make a list to keep track. What a concept.
  1. 1.
    Nsync (x3)
That's right, my first concert experience was seeing my favorite boy band with my dad and my brother from another mother (my now gay-husband). Life was good.
  2. 2.
    Christina Auguilera
I ended up seeing her in concert when I was in high school.
  3. 3.
    Spice Girls
My best friend and I went to their reunion concert, and it made all of our childhood dreams come true. We cried. True story.
  4. 4.
    Maroon 5 (x4)
My musical adolescent love affair. I saw them at every opportunity and their shows never disappointed. Adam Levine's voice still gets me every time.
  5. 5.
    Roger Waters
    At the Hollywood Bowl...enough said.
  6. 6.
    Coldplay (x3)
    Chris martin's voice live though...
  7. 7.
    Justin Timberlake (x3)
I don't even know what to say about seeing JT live. Should I mention his suave as hell dance moves? Or maybe the fact that he wears a perfectly tailored suit for the entirety of the performance? Or maybe that his voice sounds so angelic live that it makes people cry...including myself? I guess what I'm saying is that I love you Justin Timberlake. Thank you for being born.
  8. 8.
    The Fray
They were pretty damn good live guys, no lie.
  9. 9.
    Jacks Mannequin
    Do Grove concerts count?
  10. 10.
    Dave Matthews Band (x4)
    Religious experience. That is all.
  11. 11.
    Florence + The Machine (x2)
All I have to say about seeing her live is that she is a goddess with a harp for lungs.
  12. 12.
    The XX (x2)
    Hauntingly beautiful
  13. 13.
    Jason Mraz
My roommate in college and I actually climbed our way up a mountain to get to this show and it was terrible, and hysterical, and so incredibly worth it. The guy has too much rhythm.
  14. 14.
    John Mayer
Listen guys, he might be a dick in his personal life but his performances are swoon worthy.
  15. 15.
    Deadmau5
The show was really fun and high energy but we definitely had some strange experiences that night.
  16. 16.
    EDM Phase
(I'm going to just list them all here because I don't think they each need their own bullet. That's a bit much.) Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, David Guetta, Sander Van Doorn, Matt Zo, Funkagenda, Above and Beyond, Markus Schulz, Avicii, Deadmau5, STS9, Pretty Lights, James Zabiela, Eric Prydz, Dirty South, Swedish House Mafia.
  17. 17.
    Postal Service
    Out. Of. This. World.
  18. 18.
    Phoenix (x2)
I was lucky enough to see them at both Coachella and Outside Lands and they delivered those sweet sweet tunes both times.
  19. 19.
    Snoop Dog
    Epic. Epic. Epic.
  20. 20.
    Alt-J (x2)
The first time I saw them I wasn't terribly impressed. However the second time I saw them they really blew my musical mind. Then again it might have been the difference between the Palladium sound and the Hollywood Bowl sound-aka no comparison.
  21. 21.
    Pumpkin (x2)
    Mmmmmm those pumpkin sounds
  22. 22.
    Glass Animals (x2)
First time I saw them was at the Masonic Lodge at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and there were about 40 people in the crowd. The setting was unbelievable but the band was noticeably uncomfortable on stage and the sound was HORRID. The second time I saw them was a year later at The Fonda, and it was like seeing a different band. The guys owned that crowd and they were incredibly confident on stage. The sound was monumentally better, and it made a huge difference in the experience.
  23. 23.
    Mumford and Sons
At the Hollywood Bowl. We were all so moved by his voice that we barely said a word to each other on the walk back to the car.
  24. 24.
    Snow Patrol
  25. 25.
    O.K. GO
  26. 26.
    Marian Hill
