TARANTINO MOVIES RANKED

  1. Inglorious Basterds
Literally everything; from the violence to the beautiful soundtrack was perfect. I've never laughed so hard or been so shocked in a film before. A pure masterpiece.
  2. Pulp Fiction
Considered the greatest Tarantino film and is on many "top 10 greatest films" lists. On the first viewing, it didn't do much for me. I watched it a few weeks ago and fell head over heals in love with this beautiful cinematic spectacle. Each frame is a new visual to be looked upon in awe of what is taking place. Insanely well written and a classic weird and crazy film that will be watched for years to come.
  3. Django Unchained
This film was my first Tarantino picture that I saw in a theater. And WOW! It is one of the most beautiful films I've seen in a long time. The colors and the violence are so raw and pretty. I battle with my top 3 Tarantino films daily. Every time I watch this movie, it becomes my favorite. It was one of the few films that made me truly love movies and everything that goes into them. AND it's a freaking Western!!!!!!
  4. Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2
This movie is the definition of cool! Uma Thurman plays this crazy killer woman who yearns for revenge! This story has the attitude of an insane dark comic book and a cartoon mixed together.
  5. Reservoir Dogs
What I consider a "post-heist" film. I'm pretty sure it's the only one of its kind but don't quote me on that. Insanely well written and had me on the edge of my seat. I don't know why, I was so interested in all these mysterious characters. Just a fun film with brilliance in each line.
  6. Death Proof
This film is ranked last on my Tarantino list, but it's still soooo good! Although it seems pretty shallow to me as far as the story goes, it captures and entire part of American culture! Grindhouse films are apart of the 70s crazy movie phenomenon where there were like a million movie houses on each street showing crazy films with sex, violence, and horror. Tarantino brought it back as a sort of history lesson to us. I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Fun film to watch!
  7. Jackie Brown
This film is not last. I just haven't seen it yet. When I do, I'll add it to the list.
