Requested list about Kalamazoo?!?! Don't mind if I do... Here are my memories:
  1. Not ever thinking Kalamazoo was a strange name for a city.
  2. Waking up to snow piled all the way up to my bedroom window.
  3. Watching Derek Jeter play high school baseball and seeing all the scouts in the stands.
  4. Tornado sirens going off during a storm that turned the sky green.
  5. Riding my bike home at night during the summer.
  6. Drinking 40s of OE and smoking blunts on my friends porches.
  7. Going to Detroit for the first time and thinking it was the coolest place in the universe.
  8. Working at a pizza place and eating nothing but pizza for 3 years of my life.
  9. Taking photography classes at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art.
  10. Buying a blow up raft at Meijer's at 3am and taking it out on Woods Lake until it popped and we had to swim back to shore.
  11. Playing capture the flag on an entire block because the neighbors didn't care if we used their yards.
  12. Playing bumper cars (with our own cars) in parking lots that were covered in ice.
  13. Bonfires. Lots of bonfires.
  14. Running from the police at a party full of underage drinkers.
  15. Telling the piercing shop I was 18 to get my lip pierced. I was 15.
  16. Eating mushrooms and camping on the beach under the stars.
  17. Thinking Kalamazoo was SO LAME and planning where to move to after college.
  18. Bell's brewery.
  19. K-Wings Hockey games.
  20. Seeing Moby and Bush at Wings Stadium.
  21. Playing badminton and croquet in my backyard.
