  1. The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
A bit hard to read at first, but by the end you'll wish it was longer.
  2. The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica by James A. Owen
Not many know about these wonderful books.
  3. The City of Ember
  4. The Dark Lord of Derkholm
    Yall. This book is legit.

  5. This is a bit of a tangent but I'm going to say the Ender series by Orson Scott Card.

  6. The Magicians Trilogy by Lev Grossman
The first one in particular is HIGHLY influenced by the books of Narnia. So much so that I almost dismissed the series as being too derivative. But the 2nd and 3rd really carve out a place all their own.
