10 ways I can improve my sleep

    Get April to not come to bed until she's ready to sleep so she doesn't play on her phone for 30 minutes while I'm trying to fall asleep.

    Turn off the kitchen light so there is less spillover light, or at least close the bedroom door more fully.
  3. 3.
    Turn off the tv an hour before projected bedtime.
  4. 4.
    Quiet white noise in the night.
  5. 5.
    No fluids in the last 2 hours before bed.
  6. 6.
    Lower the household temp a few degrees at bedtime.
  7. 7.
    Do a breathing/relaxing exercise or progression before bed.
  8. 8.
    Add in a bedtime meditation.
  9. 9.
    Sex before bed? ;-)
  10. 10.
    Be sure to exercise daily, but early enough that heart rate and hormones are down by bedtime.
