Quotes From Books I Read That I Love (Continuing List)

I keep this physical lil journal with me at all times so I can write down quotes from whatever book I'm currently reading that touches my soul/that I can relate to. I was thinking, why not share them on here? Enjoy.

"We've got to get totally involved with what we're going to wear that day, and how pissed we are that another car cut us off, and how we wish we were in better shape, so we don't have to think about how little any of that really matters. what happened? The lightening bug made love to my toothbrush. I stood and watched it dance first, three blinks, then none, hover, three blinks more, and then it landed right on the handle of the toothbrush and mated. It was two in the morning and I didn't know what to say. I didn't know what to do. I watched as long as I could and sat on the toilet seat, depressed. how to remain soft with me. Sometimes I stay up thinking of all the places you are hurting which you'll never care to mention. I come from the same aching blood. You search my face for a reaction so I begin acting like the naked women in the videos you watch when you think no one's looking. I imitate their moans. Cont.
