[📀] CONFESSIONS OF A '90S COLLEGE RADIO DJ

Sorry for the nerd purge. It doesn't get much sadder and whiter than this. #Pete #Music
  1. Siamese Dream by the Smashing Pumpkins was actually the greatest album from the '90s.
This album is the child of David Bowie and 1000 rock gods, with all the energy of a heavy metal album and all the layers of an onion. To be consumed with headphones in the dark.
  2. I think I've only been crediting Billy Corgan for this accomplishment when I should have been crediting James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlain more.
  3. Because I don't like Billy Corgan's newer stuff.
  4. Stone Temple Pilots > Pearl Jam
I know, Pearl Jam was so serious and so important to the grunge movement. But album for album, STP was the better band.
  5. Judgment Night was a terrible movie with an incredible soundtrack.
A rare collection of rap/alt rock collaborations, never to be repeated. 🎧: https://open.spotify.com/album/1qwrbuNLtDcuj2myhuESlh
  6. But the BEST soundtrack of the '90s was the Singles OMPS.
It serves as a great primer for the Seattle sound that would be grunge. 🎧: https://open.spotify.com/album/58BEJ01sL8wK5LV3TPyngC
  7. Nevermind gets all the attention, but In Utero was the better Nirvana album.
  8. No Alternative is the '90s rarities comp album you need to hear.
  9. DCG Rarities Vol. 1 is the other '90s rarities comp album you need to hear.
  10. I'm not even mad to learn that Billy Corgan may have written all of Hole's album Live Through This.
I know you were probably wondering.
  11. If you like Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, you should go back and listen to Matthew Sweet and Morrissey.
  12. I miss 120 Minutes on MTV. 😥
