The Want List - October 30, 2015

To quote Madonna (something I’m not particularly fond of), “We are living in a material world.” To help you figure out which of the millions of material goods swirling around us is worth spending your hard-earned cash on, we have put together The Want List, consisting of the items we really love this week. http://ply.by/WantList1030
  1. Playboy x Supreme Leather Puffy Jacket
Each new Supreme release is met with hyped anticipation as lines stretch around the block, and online shoppers with itchy trackpad fingers try to cop pieces before they sell out on the web. This season, Playboy continued its collaboration with Supreme, producing this awesome leather puffy jacket. The down-filled coat has a removable faux fur hood and a monogram print of the iconic Playboy logo. www.supremenewyork.com
  2. Mazda RX-Vision
Unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show, the Mazda RX-Vision is a concept car that uses a rotary engine. Unlike a traditional engine, Mazda’s Skyactiv-R generates power with the rotating motion of triangular rotors. Mazda didn’t reveal many other details about the rear-wheel drive concept car, which will likely never make it into production but may inspire future models, but we’re sold just on the body styling alone. I mean, just look at that thing. mazdausa.com
  3. Ben & Jerry's x New Belgium Ice Cream and Beer
It’s hard to decide which element of this partnership we’re more excited for: beer-flavored ice cream or ice cream-flavored beer. Ben & Jerry’s teamed up with New Belgium Brewing, makers of the famous Fat Tire, on a Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream and a Salted Caramel Brown Ale beer. The best part is that whatever product you choose, you can feel good about your decision because proceeds will benefit Protect Our Winters. benjerry.com
  4. Ol' Dirty Bastard x Boombotix Rex Speaker
It’s been almost 11 years since Ol' Dirty Bastard, one of the legendary members of the Wu-Tang Clan, passed away but his music lives on. This limited edition Boombotix speaker, which clips easily to your backpack or just about anything else, comes pre-loaded with a never-before-heard track from ODB called “Obey Me” that is produced by Wu-Tang mastermind Rza. zumiez.com
  5. Geoff McFetridge x Bravo Range Tote
There is something inherently fun about Geoff McFetridge’s art. Even though he is a serious artist who’s received great acclaim, there is something about his smart and creative pieces that always brings a smile to your face. That is evident on the illustration he created for the inside pocket of his collaborative bag with Bravo. The beauty of this tote bag is that it converts into a backpack and has a removable laptop sleeve. bravocoworldwide.com
