After a roughly thirty year hiatus, I'm back eating oatmeal. These single serving enterprises simplify preparation, portions, and are genuinely delicious. Please add any others I may have missed.
  1. 1.
    Haulin' Oats
The "Tesla" of this category -- meaning it's perfectly executed and priced accordingly. The mason jars are admittedly pretentious, but the blend of ingredients (specifically the almond butter) elevates it above the others. And the fact they're being sued by Darryl Hall and John Oates over the company name somehow makes it taste even better.
  2. 2.
    Vigilant Eats Superfood Cereal
This excellent tasting oatmeal is fully "self-contained" as it includes a spoon (and a well-designed one at that!) with each serving.
  3. 3.
    Modern Oats
It's very good. But only number three on this list.
