Books that changed me.
I read a lot. At least I pretend I do. When really- I just buy a ton of books that I never finish. But these ones I swear I really did read and read again for that matter.
- •Claiming Georgia Tate by Gigi AmateauTrials and tribulations of a preteen girl in a fucked up Mississippi setting. Heavily depressing. Will cry.
- •The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina KeeganEssays and short stories both fictional and non. Gut wrenching and insightful.
- •One More Thing by B.J. NovakShort stories that make you go wtf I thought this was just a series of two pages of wit but jk these were carefully written metaphors on life and love and disappointment and everything in between with each and every word.
- •Obernewtyn Chronicles by Isobelle CarmodyYA fantasy/science fiction that's written in a way that makes you care so deeply for all people no matter their eccentricities. Plus there's an ultimate grumpy cat and cool mind powers and stuff.
