Movies I've seen in 2017

  1. 13th
I was writing an essay on Ava Durvenay. To my surprise, this documentary taught me things about racism and history I had never learned in school.
  2. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
References to the Odyssey earn movies extra points
  3. La La Land
Okay, this movie is astounding. I was upset by the ending, but other than that this movie was perffeeect. My music friend and I were totally geeking out at the music. Greatest movie experience so far
  4. Sing Street
Loved this movie. I had Rio stuck in my head for days after seeing it. And the original music in this is pretty great.
  5. Tommy Boy
Yes, this was my first time seeing Tommy Boy.
  6. Snowden
Such a good take on Edward Snowden
  7. Sully
So I saw this in December after Christmas, but I just thought it deserved a mention.
  8. What's Eating Gilbert Grape
  9. Beauty and the Beast
This movie was amazing. I loved the song version of Gaston in this movie.
  10. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Probably one of my new favorite movies
  11. The Discovery
    Not bad!
  12. Wonder Woman
This movie really gives you the want to fight everyday drug crimes like Rainn Wilson in Super
  13. Super
This movie really gives you the want to fight Ares during World War 1 with unrealistic weapons.... like Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman
  14. Superbad
Okay, so it's nothing like the movie Super, but it's extremely funny. If you haven't seen the blooper reel from this, I suggest looking it up on Youtube
  15. Trolls
What is going on in this
  16. The Little Prince
Wow. I have so much to say. Everything from the animation to the plot and character connections was so moving. I was bawling a good 3 times during this movie. This is probably my new favorite animated film
  17. Babadook
    Babashook
  18. Creep
    Truly scary
  19. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
    Another brilliant Wes Anderson film
  20. The Fundamentals of Caring
    Miraculous
  21. Sausage Party
    What a mind bender
  22. Momento
I think it was a David Cross stand up that told me not to watch Momento. I don't know why. It's a good movie
  23. Lion
  24. Ratatoullie
    Rewatch 1000x?
  25. Amélie
This movie is a work of art
  26. The emoji movie
The storyline was meh, but the beginning was pretty strong. Not enough of Patrick Stewart though, and nothing happened between Gene and Jailbreak. What a waste of dialogue. Smh. rate 2/10 😕
  27. The Namesake
This was for a school assignment. The book was much better, but still an enjoyable film
  28. Life is Beautiful
No words. 1000 points for this movie
