SPACEX will be launching the Falcon 9 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida in just a few minutes. Here is a livestream link!

  3. The satellite that is being launched was designed to have a 15 year lifetime and weighs around 8,100 pounds.
  4. It is being sent to be put in orbit around 22,300 miles over the equator.
  5. The satellite cost $235 million and 12 years to complete.
  6. So far the rocket has launched and the first stage of the rocket has been recovered.
  7. They are currently going through a one minute burn of the second stage engine and the Bulgariasat will be separated in about 6 minutes.
  8. Payload separation should be occurring in about ten seconds.
  9. The satellite has separated and the livestream is now ending.
