WHAT I 'VE LEARNED TO LET GO OF IN MY OLD AGE
- •BooksI love the smell of them, holding them, reading them, but do I need to keep all the books I've read? No, no I don't. I keep the classics and a few I really love.
- •Judgement (mine)I have big ears, a "distinct" nose, my upper lip goes inside my mouth when I smile...but, I'm okay. I'm alright. I talk too much. I'm socially awkward. I'm okay. I'm alright.
- •Judgement (others)I let it go. I don't sweat it. It doesn't matter what you think in the big picture. I even justify people's poor behavior instead of judging it. Maybe they were mean because they found out their wife of twenty years was having an affair. Maybe he hung up on me because he was in a rush. Not on me.
- •ClothesI'm still working on this.
