1. Sonic Hedgehog
A protein in humans encoded in the SHH gene that is involved in embryo organogenesis, brain formation, and formation of fingers. Inspired by the Sega video game character. Sadly, the name has been changed because it sounds weird to tell people there is a mutation in the Sonic Hedgehog.
  2. Kryptonite, Superman, and Clark Kent
Gene mutation found in thale cress plants. The Supeman and Clark Kent genes increase the number of stamens (the male part of the flower). The Kryptonite gene mutation prevents the Superman and Clark Kent genes from being expressed resulting in impotency.

  8. Kenny
A mutation in this gene causes flies to die after 2 days. Inspired by the character Kenny from South Park. (You bastards!)

Cleopatra committed suicide by an asp bite. When both the ASP gene and the Cleopatra gene is present in vertebrates they die.
