CHICKEN TORTELLINI SOUP

A recipe is really more of a choose your own adventure exercise
  1. 2 cans chicken broth; 2 cups water
    No chicken broth in house, soooo extra water and the chicken powder stuff
  2. 3/4 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into 1 in pieces
    Using the leftover chicken from Christmas per mom's instructions
  3. 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
    No frozen veggies in the house, so using fresh. We have carrots and Brussel sprouts; it'll be fine
  4. 1 package frozen tortellini
    Omitted once mom saw a pot full of Brussel sprouts
  5. 2 celery ribs, thinly sliced
    Forgotten
  6. Basil, garlic salt, oregano, pepper
    Nahhhh, I'm gonna use my favorite spice combo: paprika, red pepper flakes, and cumin
  7. End result: Chicken Vegetable Soup
