My wife @serpentspass, 4 friends, and I will be going down this summer! I'm excited to see some of the updates to both parks since our last trip in late 2014. All photos belong to © Disney. I found them on the Disneyland app. I would highly recommend downloading it if you plan to go to the parks to view wait times and more!

Star Tours - The Adventures Continue
I love so much about this ride and am excited to see some of the new additions to it. It's lower on the list because I always feel slightly motion sick after, which typically means I only ride it once per day.
  2. 19.
    Matterhorn Bobsleds
Very fun and well themed ride. It is lower on the list because I always feel like I smash my crotch or buttocks even with the newer seats.
  3. 18.
    Storybook Land Canal Boats
Typically less crowded and cool to see all the miniature scenes. Nice for when you need to relax.
  4. 17.
    Mr Toad's Wild Ride
A classic ride that opened with the park.
  5. 16.
Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue!
Always cool to see a dark ride for a newer film (compared to others), done very well.
  6. 15.
    Mad Tea Party
As long as I spin slow. Motion sickness sucks. Bonus points for opening with the park.
  7. 14.
    Space Mountain
It will be interesting to see how the Star Wars theme changes the ride. I usually try to ride it a few times per visit.
  8. 13.
    Radiator Springs Racers
The consistent long lines make this ride lower on my list. If the lines averaged around an hour or less it would be in my top 5 for sure. Easily the best themed ride in DCA that offered thrills and amazing animatronics.
  9. 12.
    It's Tough to be Bug!
I suppose it's more of an attraction, but oh well. It still surprises me how intense it gets considering how many small children are watching. Great use of sensory.
  10. 11.
    Indiana Jones Adventure
Amazing theming from start of the line to the end of the ride.
  11. 10.
    Peter Pan's Flight
Best slow dark ride. I'm excited to see the updated queue. Another ride that opened with the park.
  12. 9.
    California Screamin'
Music makes Rollercoasters that much better.
  13. 8.
    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
The smell and sounds of this ride bring me back to my childhood. Love this ride at night.
  14. 7.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
The Cast Members for this ride are great as is the theming and thrills. Admittedly it's not as good as the one in WDW which is why it's lower on the list.
  15. 6.
    The Haunted Mansion
A classic ride with one of the best line queues, especially once in the Mansion. The Cast Members always do a good job.
  16. 5.
    Soarin' Over California
It will be bitter sweet when this ride changes over to Soarin' Around the World. Brilliant use of technology to provide a thrilling ride that all can enjoy.
  17. 4.
    Pirate of the Caribbean
So much nostalgia comes to play in this ride. The smells take me right back to being 7 years old. The old man playing the banjo still creeps me out more than any of the Pirates. Lastly the catchy song. It used to be a tradition of my family to ride this one first.
  18. 3.
    Toy Story Midway Mania!
My wife and I get super competitive on this ride. I'm typically leading through out the ride and then she kicks my butt at the very end when you have to pull the string like crazy.
  19. 2.
    Grizzly River Rapids
I'm partial to water rides. I love how each time is slightly different and there's the thrill of anticipating who is going to get soaked. It's even better when it's the person who least wanted to get wet. I smile and laugh the entire time while on this ride.
  20. 1.
    Splash Mountain
This ride is on point. Great theming, animatronics, catchy songs, story line and thrills. Not to mention its the longest ride on property.
