My 2017 New Year's Resolutions

  1. Spend more quality, one on one time with my kids.
    Even if all they want to do is play Star Wars 😜.
  2. Run a half marathon in 2 hours.
    Haven't run one in three years and my time then was not so great...time to get back in the saddle.
  3. Do a sprint triathlon.
    Haven't done one in 7 years. Might be more of a stretch to find the time to train, but I'm going to try!
  4. Be more thrifty.
    Just because I can afford the super cute stuff in the Target dollar spot, doesn't mean I should buy it.
  5. Spend less time on my phone.
    And more mindful time with my kids (see first resolution).
  6. Use my big fancy camera more often.
    Used it all the time when I had one kid. Not so much now that I have three.
  7. Be more thoughtful and generous towards my family and friends.
    They feel good, I feel good. Win win.
  8. Not procrastinate.

  9. Get my paperwork situation under control.
  10. Sleep more.
  11. Encourage my kids to be more active.
    They'd rather play Star Wars or Legos than play sports or outside. We need to find a better balance.
  12. Do a better job of meal planning.
