I turned 26 yesterday! I haven't decided how I feel about being closer to 30 than 20, but 25 ended pretty good, so I'm optimistic 26 will be great!
  1. Go skydiving

    If not before September, I promised my little brother I would go with him when he gets home from his church mission.
  2. Use my passport
    Already have my ticket to London purchased. May hit up France and Scotland while I'm there. If I have enough time off I may go to Iceland and Norway later in the year. Bring. It. On.
  3. Read a book a month
    I used to read all the time but for the first time in my life I have a social life and feel like I'm always doing something. So I want to AT LEAST read 12 books, but hopefully more.
  4. Go to the gym 3 times a week
    Gotta get swol.
  5. Sew a quilt
    Basically what it will look like with a few less white triangles.
  6. Open an etsy shop
    I've been wanting to do this forever! I have an idea, I just haven't prefected the design. But if I took a couple hours I could.
  7. Explore Salt Lake
    Go somewhere new once a month
  8. Do something that scares me
    That won't be hard to find, basically any risk does.
  9. Save a specific amount of money
    I haven't decided how much yet.
  10. Decide what I want to do with my life/ career
    I like what I do, I just don't know that I want to do it forever.
  11. Downsize my wardrobe
    I have so much I never wear. I need to convince myself to throw it out and stop buying new things.
  12. Try a new vegetable every month
    I hate vegetables. That was fine for a 25 year old, but doesn't seem right for a 26 year old. At least I'm going to try them so I can confirm I hate them.
  13. Take a class
    In anything that interests me. Right now I'm thinking fencing!
  14. Volunteer
    I have an interview next week to start volunteering at the children's hospital!
  15. Throw a party
    My roommates and I throw a pi party every year but that basically a bunch of people bringing pie to our apartment to eat. I want a better party (details on what better means haven't been worked out).
  16. Wake up on time
    No matter how early I go to bed, I never get up on time. Somehow I'd like to change that so I can be on time to work.
  17. Have a better attitude about dating

  18. Genealogy
    In the past I have done a lot of genealogy work but I'd like to get into it again. We know very little about my Mom's side of the family (for no particular reason other than they just didn't pass much information on) so I'd like to learn more about them!
  19. Be a better conversationalist
    I've been working on this lately and I'm getting better, but have a ways to go.
  20. Learn a new language
    Probably not fluently, but basic communication.
  21. Take a picture everyday
    This just seems fun
  22. Go offline
    Not totally because I can't work without the internet. But stay away from social media and endless brain sucking web surfing for a specified time.
  23. Cut down on sweets
    I'll die if I do, I'll die if I don't. Currently eating cake straight from the cake so this is gonna be hard.
  24. Dang I gotta think of three more. Feel free to tell me what to do!
  25. Make a list every month about the status of these goals
