StartX startups seen out in real world

  1. Boosted Boards: The ultimate electric skateboard. I often see people commuting around SF using these.
  2. Farmhill Foods: Healthy food delivery. Seeing a lot of their trucks out and about in SF. Good, wholesome ingredients!
  3. UnifyID: Eliminates the need for passwords by using unique behavioral and environmental factors. Took to the big stage at this month’s TechCrunch Disrupt and was crowned runner-up!
  4. Dynaoptics: OOWA lenses (for mobile phones) use 'free-form' tech for improved image quality. Here they are in Japan!
  5. Pixlee: Lets you market and sell through your customer photos. Brill! They threw an awesome anniv party and welcomed many. Love a company that creates community, too!
  6. Treats: The quintessential leisure shirt for the fresh-dressed man. My nephew loves his! Great fit. Made in LA.
  7. Lily: Flying camera with a smile. Was cruising Facebook and randomly spotted it on Robert Scoble’s background pict. Then the WSJ, etc. Soon to be released!
  8. Frankly Chat: Frankly helps you publish stories anywhere, easily manage your workflow, and monetize your content. You can see from the billboard in SF that they went public on the Canadian exchange.
  9. AestheticLink: Providing solutions for the aesthetic industry (doctors and patients). I think this was bed bug bites from Hawaii.
  10. Sprayable: Sometimes I can’t fall asleep, so tried Sprayable Sleep. It worked! Easy to use.
  11. Give A Day Global: Makes it easy for travelers to schedule meaningful experiences with nonprofits. Caught them on a tour of Facebook, after some FB employees donated their employee credits to GADG.
  12. Osmo: Play, learn, and create beyond the screen. I took this photo at a Marbles the Brain store in 2014. Now you can find Osmo in 15,000 schools within 42 countries.
