RECORDS OF 2006, RANKED BY HOW MUCH I LIKE THEM NOW

It took writing this list to figure out most of the emo bands I listened to back then had mostly released records years before I listened to them in 2006
  1. 29.
    Liberation Transmission - Lostprophets
He raped a baby. I'm disgusted and angry that I ever fucking wasted my time on this.
  2. 28.
    I'm Not Dead - P!nk
My 14 y/o self didn't understand that Stupid Girls wasn't "feminist" as it was praised, and foolishly thought that sexist rhetoric about women being promiscuous bimbos who are to blame for patriarchal sexist objectification, and should be shamed for falling victim to both it and beauty standards, was funny because I was a "smart girl". Bullshit. This is a zero star album for that alone.
  3. 27.
Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! - Hellogoodbye
the fuck was I thinking #scenekid
  4. 26.
The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch - Cute Is What We Aim For
all the white boys with whiney voices
  5. 25.
    FutureSex/LoveSounds - Justin Timberlake
    Meh
  6. 24.
Heroine - From First To Last
emo kid @ <3 I liked Sonny Moore before he was Skrillex (because I was a lunatic apparently)

Don't You Fake It - The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Just another whiney emo boy band I ~*l0v3d*~
  8. 22.
Back to Basics - Christina Aguilera
Probably her last good album but maybe I'm being shady
  9. 21.
The Secret Life Of... - The Veronicas
Technically 2005, but this album is how I discovered Tracey Bonham
  10. 20.
Be Your Own Pet - Be Your Own Pet
yooooooo my teen girl self jumped around to this SO HARD
  11. 19.
Motion In The Ocean - McFly

  22. 8.
Broken Boy Soldiers - The Raconteurs
If it's got Jack White I'm listening to it. I mean he's no Meg White but I gotta get my nth degrees of separation somewhere. Good album.
  23. 7.
    The Dutchess - Fergie
This is a solid album! I would happily belt out any of the singles at karaoke given the opportunity
  24. 6.
Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not - Arctic Monkeys
lil Alex Turner before he was wigglin his tiny hips. This is a great debut album.
