A friend of mine lost her child. I don't know what to do or say. Help!
  1. Basics needed for survival
Cook. Do laundry. Take out the trash. Take care of the basics so she has time to grieve.

  2. Don't say, just do.
Show up. Pack a basket of fridge/pantry staples or delicious, fancy snacks and leave it on her porch after the first few crazy days of loss have passed and she feels hungry again but can't remember how to make food. Don't ask questions, don't offer platitudes. Know that there is nothing you can do other than to keep loving the person she is now, and the person she will be when she gets to the other side and has been transformed by this grief. Know that she will be different and allow it. ❤️ Hugs
