Favorite Episodes of Doctor Who

Guys, I know there aren't a ton of Whovians on li.st but I can't help it. I need to talk about it a little more. If you like British accents, cute men in their thirties and time travel then this show is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT FOR YOU. Here are a few episodes that I think can be standalones or intros into the brilliantness of this show. Spoiler-free!
  1. Blink
Oh my gosh. Even this picture gave me chills. Scary angel statues! Young Carrey Mulligan! This episode is often said to be the best of the entire series, even though it has the least amount of face time for the main character. WARNING: Do not watch this alone at night. You will literally die of fright.
  2. End of the World
This episode might be my actual favorite. It is the one that truly sums up how beautiful and life-affirming this show aims to be. Please excuse Rose's attire. The 90s were not good to any of us in that respect.
  3. Prisoner Zero
This was the first episode of Doctor Who that I ever watched and IT HOOKED ME SO GOOD. Creepy but funny in perfect amounts. It's the perfect intro to the three main characters and I love them all so much.
  4. "Rose" 1st episode of the reboot
I started with the 9th Doctor. So he will always have a place in my heart. I was hooked from that very first one!

  6. Angels in Manhattan
    I cry every time.

  7. Vincent and the Doctor
The best of sappy Who, plus it manages to capture the gorgeous visual world of Van Gogh's paintings.

    I cry every time.

  9. I'm just a ten fan and I'm a rose fan so these were my prime. I just love Tooth and Claw, but I can't explain why. Books, the best weapons in the world!!!

  11. Heaven Sent
I love 9 so much (and 10/11) but this episode took me by surprise. I was bored with it at first and then when I realized what was happening I was IN LOVE with it. I've watched it at least 5 or 6 times now. I've really come to love 12.

Meeting Charles Dickens on Christmas Eve and then there are GHOSTS. Honestly the epitome of all Doctor Who should be always.

  33. "Human Nature" from season 3 of the reboot
Where he becomes a teacher in 1913 and falls in love... temporarily... (placeholder as I still have dozens of episodes to go....)
