1. The Jungle Book
Actually I watched this three times this week. It's so good, guys. We also watched the "making of" thing in the bonus features. Technology blows my mind. The story, the voices, the beauty of this movie are all out of this world.
  2. A Royal Affair
A Danish period piece. It was fascinating and based on true events from the Enlightenment era. Beautiful and sad and very good. It made me want to read a million Wikipedia pages which I'll probably never actually get around to.
  3. The Waitress
Keri Russell is brilliant in this and I love her waitress friends but it's hard to get down with all the adultery. It was real, and therefore sad, in ways many movies aren't. I loved how it ended and probably would've hated the movie had it turned out differently.
