1. Do you feel moved by your national anthem?
I'm not patriotic at all really but dammit I get teary-eyed almost every time I hear the Star Spangled Banner.
  2. How do children in your country get to school?
I'm guessing it's not a big yellow school bus like in the U.S.
  3. Can you succinctly explain your country's healthcare system and are most citizens satisfied with it?
    I cannot and no.
  4. What is the best part of living in your country?
The beauty, the conveniences, my basic needs are met with little work from me (I understand that the same may not be true for everyone from the states.)
  5. What is the worst part?
Political differences have become more important than our commonalities, our unhealthy consumer culture that is wrecking our world, ease of apathy
  6. Are there accents within the language you speak?
What stereotypes go along with those accents? Examples: Southern sounds uneducated. Midwestern sounds quaint. New Yorkers sound abrasive. Californians sound high.
  7. What would you say is the overall impression people from your country have of the US and its citizens?
Be honest. I really truly want to know.
  8. Have you ever lived in another country? If so, what difference stood out most between that country and your home?
I lived in France for a year. Life seemed richer there.
  9. Do you hope to move to the U.S. someday?
So many people seem to have that as their goal. I hope to live abroad again.
  10. Can I come stay with you?
You are welcome at my place anytime!
