A significant other, friend, acquaintance, or business associate... What's your chosen dumping technique? For the record, I am not dumping @Hoogie 😘
  1. It's not you, it's me.
  2. It's not me, it's YOU!

  3. We both know this isn't working.
It forces them to pause and think about everything and allows you to run away.

  4. Kill them with kindness and if they ignore you, ignore back.
Only say "hi" or respond to their greetings if any. Otherwise, be friendly but not necessarily a friend. Not the nicest thing to hear but it is realistic. Roommates are prime subjects in this.

  5. Not recommended, but effective😱

  6. From a past relationship where they were a good person and I was a piece of shit "I can't keep putting you through my catastrophe of a life. You deserve better." Painful, but the right thing to do at the time. We are back together now and I'm a different person.

  7. Panic about the fact that the relationship isn't going well, don't talk to them for a month, and then have an awkward "so we both are that things here are not ideal" kind of talk
Definitely not the best way to break up, also definitely the way I just broke up with my boyfriend last week
